SPORTS MASSAGE

I love working with athletes! Sports massage is beneficial for tissue repair, muscle recovery, and overall performance. It helps cut down on injury recovery time and aids in preventing future pain and injury. A sports massage session is specially designed with the client’s sport in mind. It can include active and passive stretching, fascial release, and deep muscle work. The key to success is to regularly give back to your body so it continues working for you!

CUPPING THERAPY

Cupping is an incredibly effective tool for working with tissue problems, pain, range of motion and many other musculoskeletal issues. Cupping utilizes suction to create negative pressure on the skin and the underlying tissues. This vacuum effect helps to lift and separate fused tissues layers, reduce adhesions, and enhance blood and lymph flow, all using negative force, which is very different from the compressive force of massage. I use cups as my helpers in many sessions to achieve great results.

KT TAPING

Kinesiology tape is a tape placed on areas of pain or restricted movement and works with the skin to influence the fascia and nervous system. This can result in improved fluid movement (lymph and blood), improved movement between tissue layers, and an altered perception of pain via new neurosensory input to the brain. I use this on myself all the time! Used for injury recovery, to decrease inflammation, pain management, and aid movement, it’s great for athletes and non-athletes alike.
